Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cell Pet Salon In Hillsborough
James Taylor has expressed concern about what happened to his 5-pound dog JUJU last weekend. According to Taylor, a groomer allegedly taped Jujur's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.
Taylor explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Jujur's paws were visibly red and injured, with the toenails cut too close to the paw, which likely provoked his biting reaction."
Puppy Lux, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
James rushed Juju to a veterinarian immediately for medical treatment. Having joined numerous other accusers of animal abuse, James accused Puppy-Lux. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.
James described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were so deep that they caused blood to flow."
Jack Smithr is a Puppy Lux customer who posted a Yelp Review about his pet being returned injured or ill. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.
PuppyLux wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
When contacted by Fox, Puppy Lux answered the phone but promptly handed it over to a woman who stated they were investigating the allegations. When asked about Puppy, she immediately said that it was an independent entity, before abruptly terminating the call.
